Our programs are free and empower women and teen girls of all ages, backgrounds, and stages in life. We provide resources, professional clothing, new skills, and support to support our clients pursue their careers, work aspirations, and education to make meaningful contributions to their community. We’re passionate about helping women, those who identify as women, and teen girls overcome challenges to create their own paths.
At Making Changes Association, we are “women supporting women”, committed to empowering others to thrive in their communities. With this in mind, we embraced an origami Japanese crane as the symbol of our organizational identity.
The Japanese crane represents hope and happiness.
OUR IMPACT
We believe that improving women's economic independence requires more than increasing their income and assets. Our services and programs provide opportunities for clients to reflect on their potential and skills to grow as professionals and persons. We make every effort to support their growth and self-discovery that can lead to enhancing their self-confidence into a journey to sustainable livelihood and overall well-being.

Monday to Thursday 9:30 am to 4:00 pm | Select Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Closed on the following dates:

Monday, November 11 - Remembrance Day
Friday, December 13th – Wednesday, January 1st (Building will be closed for donation drop-off during this time. Staff will be available via phone/email until December 23rd. All staff will be on holidays from December 24th – January 1st. We will reopen on Thursday, January 2nd)
